The new Super Record 13 front derailleur has been completely redesigned, like every groupset component, to guarantee top-level performance in terms of shifting speed and precision. The renewed design and updated components ensure smooth, efficient and reliable shifting. The high-precision motor ensures rapid, progressive chain movement, even under high pedal pressure, making transitions between chainrings immediate and silent. 

The engineering design managed to achieve a significant weight reduction thanks to the use of high-quality materials and a new construction geometry. The carbon fork and its interaction system with the derailleur body ensures the use of a wide range of chainrings, from the super compact 45/29 configuration up to 55/39, ensuring full compatibility with all seven available gear combinations. 

The system is powered by a front-mounted battery capable of a battery life of up to 750 km on paved roads — a figure confirmed by tests conducted during the training camps of the Team World Tour Cofidis. 

The batteries may be recharged directly on the bike or separately once removed. Thanks to the Quick-Snap magnetic ports, the cable is automatically positioned in the correct place. The system is compatible with any USB-C socket, using the supplied cable. 

The smart batteries also ensure recharging via smartphone (equipped with a USB-C port), which can be used as a charging powerbank in emergency situations. 

Thanks to the ultra-fast recharging mode, a full recharge can be obtained in 60 minutes, while 90% of the charge is reached in just 45 minutes. In case of need, a 10-minute recharge is enough to guarantee a range of approximately 100 km. 

The battery status can be monitored directly on the derailleur, thanks to an integrated LED, or via the dedicated MyCampy app or compatible bike computer. 

Another technical detail concerns the forward positioning of the battery: placed in the front part of the derailleur body, it provides more free space near the seat tube, thus allowing the mounting of tires with a wider section — a growing trend also in the high-performance road bike segment.  

In line with the stylistic excellence of the Campagnolo tradition, the design of the Super Record groupset achieved the integration of the linkage arm into the upper carbon fibre body. The graphics, made directly from the mould or laser engraved, enhance the minimal nature of the shapes and underline the quality of the materials used.

The new Ergopower controls are one of the most important achievements in the Super Record 2x13 platform. Completely redesigned in terms of ergonomics and functionality, they provide the rider full control over the bike, ensuring immediate access to gear functions and accessories from any riding position: high, forward or low grip, without ever having to take your hands off the controls. This is not just an aesthetic upgrade, but a true development designed to significantly improve the riding experience. 

Among the most significant innovations, the famous “Thumb Shifter” has returned, now in a version integrated into the body of the command. Repositioned to be easily reachable from every gripping position, it ensures precise control during every pedalling phase. A button called “Smart Button” has been added to the inside of the control. It is completely configurable via the MyCampy app and allows you to customize the functions based on your preferences, from managing gear shifts to controlling the bike computer or any compatible Bluetooth device. To complete the system, the new shift lever has been positioned behind the brake lever for an even more natural and responsive shifting action.

Not only the Smart Button, but also all the levers on the Ergopower can be freely configured via the Campagnolo app, allowing users to assign them the desired functions based on their riding style.

Great attention has also been paid to comfort: the new Ergopower geometry provides a wide, flat and continuous support surface designed to ensure a steady and secure grip even after many hours in the saddle. The brake and shift levers, made entirely of carbon, have an ergonomic design that eliminates interference with your fingers, especially in high grip. The fulcrum point has been optimized to ensure powerful, but fully progressive, braking, while the distance between the lever and the handlebar is micrometrically adjustable to adapt it to every hand and riding style.

Battery status, connectivity and configuration steps can be monitored via an integrated LED or displayed on compatible apps and bike computers. The elegance of the details completes the ensemble: the words Super Record are visible on the brake lever, accompanied by the tone-on-tone winged wheel logo on the internal lever.

The new Super Record 13 rear derailleur, completely redesigned for this generation, redefines the standards of shifting for road bikes. The two 14-tooth pulleys have a differentiated profile that has been optimized to accompany the chain in every pedalling phase. The housing is compatible with sprocket cassettes starting from 10 or 11 teeth up to a maximum of 36, offering a wide range of ratios suitable for every type of route and pedalling style.

The assembly options available: directly mounted using a Campagnolo UDH dropout or classic link for traditional frames and compatible with direct mount dropout. The rear derailleur is powered by a (removable) battery with a range of up to 750 km. Recharging is ultra-fast: it takes just 60 minutes to reach 100% capacity. The charging level can be easily monitored via the integrated LED, the MyCampy app or directly on the bike computer. The USB-C connector ensures maximum compatibility with modern recharging devices, including smartphones, which can be used as a power bank in emergency situations.

The technological heart is the HPPM (High Precision Power Measurement) system: 16 extensometers and an integrated gyroscope guarantee power measurement with a certified accuracy of ±1%. From experience gained with Ekar 13s, Campagnolo has developed new cassettes for the Super Record 13 groupset, designed to provide smoother, faster, more precise and silent shifting. Thanks to the reduced thickness of the sprockets and optimized spacing, it has been possible to add an extra sprocket without changing the freewheel body standard: the well-established N3W standard has been maintained without the need for adapters or dedicated hubs. The new tooth profile, combined with the Black Chrome surface finish, improves noise reduction, wear resistance and durability over time. The progression of gear ratios is more gradual, favouring an ideal cadence in all conditions, from uphill to flat sections. The smaller difference between the sprockets ensures more efficient effort management, helping the athlete to optimize performance and reduce fatigue.

Four configurations are available to adapt to every terrain and riding style, two of which start from a ten-tooth sprocket and two from an eleven-tooth sprocket, namely:

The Super Record 13 brake calipers ensure powerful, progressive and smooth braking, thanks to the 22 mm pistons that guarantee responsiveness and control in all conditions. The optimized pad return system eliminates friction when releasing the lever, further improving the riding sensation.

The forged aluminium brake body is combined with titanium retention screws which reduce its overall weight by 6 grams per pair without compromising the system’s solidity.

The brake pads are available in an organic or in a sintered versions (ideal for wet conditions or low temperatures), both equipped with sound-absorbing plates to dampen vibrations and have a large friction surface to dissipate heat and limit the risk of vitrification. They also feature a wear indicator and are easy to replace thanks to the absence of physical return springs.

The result is a “best in class” braking system which combines reliability, high performance and simplified maintenance – a must-have in the Campagnolo tradition.

Battery life reaches 750 km – also confirmed by the training camps of the World Tour team Cofidis – with a full recharge in just 60 minutes. If necessary, more than 20% of the charge can be recovered in just 10 minutes.

The new universal USB-C cables also ensure reverse charging: in emergency situations, you can use your smartphone as a power bank. The charge level can be monitored at all times thanks to the integrated LED (green = charged, red = low), with the possibility of advanced monitoring via compatible bike computers or MyCampy app.

The batteries are also fully compatible with the Super Record WRL 12v groupset, ensuring perfect integration with the latest-generation Campagnolo ecosystem.

The new Super Record bottom bracket has been redesigned from scratch to provide faster, more intuitive and more precise assembly, thanks to the proprietary QCK-Tech (Quick Tech) technology. This advanced system integrates a patented external seal, designed to effectively protect the ball bearings from external agents such as water, mud and sand. The central tube, made of polyamide reinforced with fiberglass, guarantees impeccable watertightness, preventing any contamination inside. The new cups house oversize stainless steel bearings, fitted directly onto the Ultra-Torque semi-axles, firmly integrated into the cranks. The result is superior structural rigidity and direct, reactive power transmission faithful to the high-performance DNA of the Super Record groupset.

Thanks to the QCK-Tech system, performance will remain consistent over time, even in the most extreme conditions. The bottom bracket is available in multiple types, to ensure maximum compatibility with the different frame standards on the market.
