• PFP (Pinch Flat Protection) rim sidewalls have a wider contact surface at the top of sidewall, which significantly minimises the risk of tyre cuts and punctures. Super strong rim (ASTM 5) gives you the confidence to push your limits on rough terrain.

Purpose-built for off-road E-bikes

• Wider 30mm (internal) rim adds stiffness and cornering precision. Engineered for the added torque of E-bike motors with 28 threaded three-cross spokes that further boost lateral stiffness.

Most user-friendly tubeless system

• Fully sealed rim with no rim tape makes it easy to mount and change tubeless tyres. Leaving the upper rim bridge intact boosts the stiffness and the durability of the rim.

The right wheel and tyre combination can improve your skills and upgrade the performance of your E-bike on challenging off-road terrain. The new E-Deemax S is built specifically for E-bikes and has some unique technologies to help you ride smoother and have more fun on the trail.

Mavic's patented PFP technology (Pinch Flat Protection) features rims with a wider contact surface at the top of sidewall to significantly reduce the risk of tyre cuts and punctures. The 30mm wide rims allow you to run lower tyre pressure for better traction and smooth rolling efficiency. Our patented Fore technology features a fully sealed upper rim bridge that eliminates the need for rim tape, making it the easiest system for mounting and changing tubeless tyres

ISM rim machining removes material from the rims in strategic areas to minimise weight without compromising strength, and our new Black Shield treatment protects the rims against impacts and scratches. Mavic use 28 straight-pull spokes (same spoke length throughout) for a strong connection between the rim and hub, which has our ultra-reliable ID360 double ratchet system for quick engagement and acceleration. Set up for either 6-bolt or center lock disc mounts, these 27.5" wheels are available for Shimano HG9, XD and Micro Spline freewheel bodies and come with UST tubeless valves, spare spokes and accessories.

Exclusive to Mavic. this specific aluminium alloy offers a higher strength to weight ratio than tradition 6106 alloy

ISM Light Rim Technology

Inter Spoke Milling (ISM) is an exclusive Mavic patented concept. It elminates all the excess material where it's not needed. Using a patented machining process, Mavic are able to vary the thickness of aluminium rims. In this way, the profile is lightened between each (thinner) spoke exactly where the mechanical stresses are lowest providing a 15% lighter rim without compromising on reliability.

Fore Tapeless Tubeless Technology

Stiffer and Stronger. Instead of being drilled, the lower rim bridge is pushed up on the inside, then threaded to enable the spoke nipples to be directly screwed into it, leaving the upper rim bridge intact.

Instant Drive 360 technology

Super light and efficient. The large contactless rubber seal provides low friction, while a wide array of end caps makes it super versatile.

UST tubeless technology

Traction and control. Universal Standard for Tubeless. Ready to ride tubeless system. The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort whilst reducing inertia and flats.

SUP Welding technology

Soude Usine Process, stronger and smoother joint. After bending, the rim joint is arc welded. The welded seam is then milled for a smooth finish.

Black Shield Treatment

This treatment doubles the rim's lifespan against stone impacts and scratches. Super strong double coated treatment with a matt finish.

QRM Auto Bearing Preload Technology

Qualite de Roulements Mavic Auto. Cartridge bearings double sealed with e3 internal clearance. Preload is automatically adjusted to guarantee a perfect spin with no play on the long run.
