Clarks High-Performance Die Drawn Brake Cable Kit. Engineered using advanced die drawn technology, this kit features a 1.5mm stainless steel inner wire that provides an exceptionally smooth surface, drastically reducing friction for enhanced braking precision and reliability.

Die Drawn wire offers a superbly smooth surface, this is achieved by micro hammering the front end of the cable to the preferred diameter, this is then inserted into a drawing die and pulled through the Draw plate multiple times, resulting in the cable having an ultra-smooth surface.

Die Drawn wires greatly reduce the friction between the cable and liner, the end result of this is that die drawn cables perform better than any other cables on the market today.

Features

  • Advanced Die Drawn Technology: The 1.5mm stainless steel inner wire undergoes a meticulous process of micro-hammering and multiple draws through a die, creating an ultra-smooth surface that significantly reduces friction between the cable and liner
  • Optimised for MTB/Hybrid Bikes: Specifically designed for the unique demands of mountain and hybrid bike braking systems, ensuring optimal performance in diverse riding conditions.
  • Enhanced Braking Performance: The reduced friction facilitates smoother and more responsive braking, crucial for the safety and control needed in MTB and hybrid cycling
  • Durable and Reliable: Stainless steel construction offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability, standing up to the rigors of off-road and variable weather riding
