The Ksyrium S Disc is 40g lighter than the former Ksyrium UST Disc while also being stronger and laterally stiffer. Stiffness is optimized using Fore technology. The upper bridge remains undrilled, optimizing strength and rigidity, and it doesn't require the use of a rim tape, which saves another 30g per wheel. The rim bed's new shape makes it easier than ever to mount and remove tyres, and our UST Tubeless technology improves rolling resistance and grip while reducing the risk of punctures.
Mavic's Infinity hub platform optimises stiffness and power transfer with highly controlled spoke tension, while their Instant Drive 360 freewheel coupled with the automatic bearing preload adjustment (QRM Auto) delivers fast engagement and durability. The Ksyrium S Disc doesn't just ride fast, it looks fast too.
Matte painted hubs, invisible rim welding and deep black spokes give this wheelset a premium look that stands out from the crowd. It's available for Shimano, Campagnolo or XD-Road.

Maxtal aluminium alloy
Light and strong. Exclusive to Mavic, this specific aluminium alloy offers a higher strength to weight ratio than the conventional 6106 alloy.
ISM Light rim technology
Inter Spoke milling is an exclusive Mavic patented concept. ISM involves the machining of the lower bridge of the rim between each spoke hole to create a light and rigid rim without reducing durability
Fore tapeless tubeless technology
Stiffer and stronger. Instead of being drilled, the lower rim bridge is pushed up on the inside, then threaded to enable the spoke nipples to be directly screwed in it, leaving the upper rim bridge intact
Instant Drive 360 technology
Super light and efficient. The large contactless rubber seal provides low friction, while a wide array of end caps makes it super versatile.
Isopulse lacing design
Optimum energy transfer. The spokes are laced radially on the drive side and crossed 2 on the non drive side to maximise the drive side dish, thus providing an improved spoke tension balance between left and right flanges.
UST tubeless technology
Traction and control. The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort whilst reducing inertia and flats
SUP Welding technology
Soude Usine Process, stronger and smoother joint. After bending, the rim joint is arc welded. The welded seam is then milled for a smooth finish.
Infinity Hub Design
An ultra reliable, high performance hub. Efficient power transfer thanks to the optimised non-contact spoke lacing and tension distribution. The length of the spokes are identical on the front and rear.
QRM Auto bearing preload technology
Qualite de Roulements Mavic Auto. Cartridge bearings are double sealed with e3 internal clearance. Preload is automatically adjusted to guarantee a perfect spin with no play on the long run.
