ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

High-modulus, unidirectional carbon fibre flanges are wrapped over a honeycomb structure, producing the uncompromising stiffness that pro racers demand. The drive side flange is flat, which maximizes space for the cassette. The non-drive side is lenticular - a perfect solution to minimize drag. In certain wind conditions, the wheel produces forward lift and can generate its own momentum when a certain speed is reached. Its unique Exalith 2 rim technology provides consistent and reliable braking in wet and dry conditions.

• Light and Strong. Exclusive to Mavic, this specific aluminium alloy offers a higher strength to weight ratio then a conventional 6106 alloy.

Efficient Rigidity - FTS-L Freewheel Technology

Force Transfer System Light. Reinforcement of key transmission components. The contact area between the pawl and the hub body is reinforced by 2 stainless steel inserts, which allows the use of a 100% aluminium hub body.

Safety Reliability - SUP Welding Technology

Soude Usine Process, stronger and smoother joint. After bending, the rim joint is arc welded. The welded seam is then milled for a smooth finish.
